iGenius, a pioneer in AI models for highly regulated industries, has unveiled Colosseum, one of the world's largest NVIDIA DGX AI supercomputers featuring NVIDIA Grace Blackwell Superchips. This powerful system is designed to support the deployment of advanced AI models for financial services, healthcare, and public sector customers worldwide. With a computational performance of 115 exaflops, powered by renewable energy from Italy, Colosseum will enable the development of trillion-plus-parameter large language models and open-source generative AI applications.
According to Uljan Sharka, CEO of iGenius, this supercomputer is designed for "unicorn use cases" that can deliver over $1 billion in value. Charlie Boyle, vice president of DGX platforms at NVIDIA, notes that the Colosseum supercomputer serves as an AI factory that will accelerate the development and deployment of AI applications meeting regulatory requirements. This collaboration between iGenius and NVIDIA is expected to pave the way for sovereign AI deployments, driving innovation across industries while promoting sustainable growth worldwide.
