Cleveland Clinic, IBM, and the UK's Hartree Centre are collaborating to advance healthcare and biomedical science through artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing. The partnership will focus on research projects in the US and UK, studying epilepsy and the impact of hospital interventions. Dr. Lara Jehi, Chief Research Information Officer at Cleveland Clinic, and Dr. Charles Knowles, Chief Academic Officer at Cleveland Clinic London, will lead the projects. The teams will use high-performance and quantum computing to improve healthcare and accelerate new treatments for patients worldwide. IBM has deployed its Quantum System One at Cleveland Clinic for this purpose.
